Our mission is to break cycles of abuse, restore lives, and build safer communities through compassionate, evidence-based practices.

Individual Sessions

$150

Individual Therapy (Nancy Miller, LISW): Utilizing CBT, DBT, Trauma-Informed Care, and Motivational Interviewing. Focusing on reintegration, legal compliance, and personal growth for registered citizens. Addressing trauma, coping skills, and mental health for family members.

Individual therapy allows for a tailored approach, addressing the specific risk factors, trauma history, and cognitive distortions of each individual. It provides a safe and confidential space for individuals to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors without judgment.

Many individuals who commit sexual offenses have experienced trauma, abuse, or neglect in their own lives. Individual therapy can help them process these experiences, heal from past wounds, and develop healthier coping mechanisms. This process of healing can contribute to the reduction of distorted thinking that can lead to harmful behaviors.

Therapy can help individuals gain insight into their own patterns of thinking and behavior, including their triggers and high-risk situations. This increased self-awareness is essential for developing strategies to prevent future offense.

Cultivating remorse and understanding the impact of actions on victims is essential for rehabilitation, and this can be achieved through examining the consequences of past behaviors.

A confidential setting allows for the creation of tailored risk management plans, equipping individuals with strategies to navigate high-risk situations and control urges

Support Groups

$10

Support Groups: Peer support groups for registered citizens and separate groups for family members.

Group settings provide a space for individuals to confront their denial and distorted thinking patterns. Peers can challenge each other's rationalizations and hold each other accountable, which can be more effective than individual therapy alone. The shared experience of other offenders can reduce feelings of isolation and shame, fostering a sense of community and support.

Group therapy allows participants to learn from each other's experiences, both positive and negative. They can practice new social skills, develop empathy, and learn how to recognize and manage high-risk situations in a safe and supportive environment.

Sex offense treatment often focuses on identifying and challenging the cognitive distortions that contribute to offending behavior.  Support group settings provide opportunities for participants to identify these distortions in themselves and others, and to practice alternative ways of thinking.

Group therapy provides a place to help individuals learn to recognize their own personal risk factors, and to create plans to manage those risks.

Family Therapy

$170

Family Therapy (Nancy Miller, LISW): Addressing family dynamics, communication patterns, and the impact of trauma.

Having a loved one on the sex offense registry can be a deeply challenging experience with significant emotional, social, and practical consequences.

Families often experience intense feelings of shame and stigma of being listed for the public to see . This can lead to social isolation and difficulty in maintaining relationships.

Children in the family may experience emotional harm, bullying, and social isolation. They may also struggle to understand the situation and cope with the stigma. There may be concerns about the safety of children in the family or neighborhood.

Vigilantism is also a real danger. Families may face ostracism from their community, friends, and even other family members. You don’t have to face this alone.
